Independent Ukraine

Independent Ukraine

The most important decision for Europe to take now, besides helping the people in Ukraine to stay alive and independent, is to make sure, with new European and EU countries legislations, that if Russia occupies Ukraine all sanctions on Russia and oligarchs, both economic and cultural, will be uphold until Russia leaves Ukraine. No matter how long it takes 2, 3 or 10 years.

As everyone now know Europe and the rest of the world have on its hands a new socio-psychopath Mr. Putin. All democratically thinking people that have followed the undemocratic Russia and the construction of Putin´s power structure has been waiting for him to snap over. I personally think, with a little bit of sarcasm, that this despicable sportsman named Putin burned over when Russia lost to Finland in OL Beijing in the Ice Hockey final. That was just too much for the poor wretch. But anyway, there is no need for “intellectual” analysis of the “man” Putin or the development of the power structure in Russia. We can see with our bare eyes what he and the Regime in Russia is capable of and only psychopaths are able to order meaningless killing of people, including children, not to mention when we are talking about Russia’s brothers and sisters.

It is not so that other European countries have not behaved in comparable way as Putin/Russia in the past. That´s not the issue now. But it almost seems to me that we are learning from our past. For the first time in many, many years the public in Europe can almost be proud of their leader’s decisions although they have been helped on the way by the public and many organizations regarding all forms of sanctions.

When we look at the suffering of the brave people of Ukraine one can nearly suggest that Europe should intervene directly in the war in Ukraine or even in Belarus. Russia isn´t in war there. A pacifist, always a pacifist, but there are times! The people of Ukraine are dying and so are the Russian young soldiers that really don´t know what they are doing. And there is no time for intellectual analysis of European politics or conflicts in the last 110 years, WWI, Hitler this and that, Soviet Union this and that, NATO this and that, the Cold War or Russia and its neighbour’s after the year 2000. It´s only mind games now.

The only way for us, of course along other roads, to survive humanely in this world of ours, threatened by our self on all fronts whether it is our ecosystem, climate or human conflicts, is to stop Putin/Russia and the war in Ukraine no later than now. That is our first task, then we can efficiently keep on working on the rest.

For Ukraine

To the Fallen and Misses Hope (lyric to a song).

The story I am just about to tell
it’s all about daily life that turns into hell
The deserted villages of pain
the poet Oliver Goldsmith tried to explain

“Ills fare the land, to hastening ills a prey,
Where wealth accumulates, and men decay”*

And whenever depressing war starts all over again
it always hits wurst the most defenceless of men

“We’re here because we’re here because
We’re here because we’re here”**

And then all in trenches turns into death
With roots in the hands of the few with wealth
And nothing is like it ever seams
But Hope is always there in my dreams

And if only I wake up with her there
because, without her live isn´t to bear

It’s no wonder if you think you have heard this many times before
It´s chiselled in your mind, your parents and in the folklore

“We’re here because we’re here because
We’re here because we’re here
We’re here because we’re here because
We’re here because we’re here”**

I …………. Know
You………… Know

“We’re here because we’re here because
We’re here because we’re here
We’re here because we’re here because
We’re here because we’re here”**

I know this have to change
You know this have to change
